“Pre-med” isn't a major — it's a commitment
Many students enter college pre-med without understanding the academic rigor, decision-making, or realities of medicine — leading to burnout and major changes. This camp helps students explore medicine safely and strategically, building clarity before commitment.
This course introduces how medicine works in practice: anatomy, medical technology, surgery, and the future of healthcare — so families can support informed choices.
Students will:
- Understand how doctors think and diagnose
- Explore medical innovation and technology
- Gain confidence before choosing a medical pathway
- Build college-level readiness in health sciences
They will explore
Four structured sessions from foundations to the frontier of healthcare.
How body systems work together and how doctors interpret dysfunction.
- Core anatomy and physiology tied to clinical thinking
- How major systems (nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory) work as an integrated whole
- Foundations for reading symptoms and reasoning about health and disease
Imaging, diagnostics, AI, robotics, and modern healthcare tools.
- Imaging and diagnostics used in hospitals today
- Biosensors, gene-related tools, and neurotechnology
- How technology changes how doctors diagnose and treat
Surgical thinking, precision, safety, and innovation.
- How surgeons plan procedures and manage risk
- Examples such as brain and open-heart surgery as windows into the field
- Precision, teamwork, and innovation in the operating room
Personalized medicine, AI-driven care, biotech, and ethics.
- Personalized medicine and data-driven care
- AI in healthcare and emerging biotech
- Ethical questions families and future clinicians should understand early
Perfect for advanced 9th–12th graders curious about medicine
Ideal for students who:
- Are considering medicine or healthcare careers
- Enjoy biology and science-based reasoning
- Want early exposure before college
- Seek strong enrichment for applications
Students gain real insight into medicine and clarity about their interests before choosing a path — with support for coursework and enrichment planning, not pressure.

How this camp guides medicine pathways
Medicine and bioscience require long-term commitment. Through guided exposure to anatomy, medical technology, surgery, and emerging healthcare fields, students and families gain the clarity to decide whether to pursue — or thoughtfully rule out — medical and health-science directions.
After the program, students can better:
- Assess whether medicine or healthcare aligns with their interests and strengths
- Understand what advanced biology, chemistry, and health-science tracks involve
- Identify interests across clinical care, surgery, technology, research, or biotech
- Plan coursework and enrichment with confidence rather than pressure
Value that compares to $2,000+ programs
Many pre-college medicine programs charge thousands for brief exposure. Our four-session, expert-led model delivers foundational depth and realistic perspective at $400 — so students gain clarity efficiently and affordably.
“My daughter discovered her passion for genetics through this program — she's now planning to major in biomedical engineering.”

Introduction to Medicine (May) — session overview
Students learn how anatomy and physiology underpin clinical reasoning — exploring structure, function, and how major systems work together so physicians interpret symptoms and plan care.
From MRI to biosensors, gene-related tools, and neurotechnology — students see how hospitals and researchers use technology to diagnose and treat.
A window into procedures done daily worldwide — including examples like brain and open-heart surgery — highlighting surgical thinking, safety, and innovation.
Gene editing, regenerative medicine, mRNA vaccines, and AI — students discuss where healthcare is headed and what ethical questions matter now.
